I too have a Nickel allergy! So I have made sure that everything I use in my jewelry is nickel free. I wear my own work everyday, and I can say with certainty that both the wire and necklace chains I use are absolutely nickel-free.
Each pendent comes with an 18 inch long 2mm thick chain necklace. Depending on the piece, the chain will either be silver or gold plated. Each necklace is guaranteed nickel free!
*18 inch long black necklace cord is available upon request.
*For custom orders I can also adjust the length of chain from 16 to 36 inches.
Rest assured your gift will NOT be wrapped in an Amazon style gift bag with one lonely piece of tissue paper stuffed inside! I will personally wrap your gift with the utmost care, using seasonally appropriate wrapping paper and color coordinated curled ribbon. I enjoy wrapping presents and making them into beautiful packages. It seemed only logical to offer it as an Add-On service.
*Visit my Naked Stones page to see an example of the gift wrapping I offer.
Yes! I love creating custom pieces for my customers! You can check out the Naked Stones page to see if there is a gemstone you would like me to wrap. While I don't have my own independent store front, I DO have a beautiful display at my workplace in Oak Harbor, Washington. I am the office manager for a small, women and veteran owned wellness center called Soulful Awakening Massage & Wellness. If you would like to see my jewelry in person, you are welcome to stop by during business hours. I do ask that you call ahead though since we operate by appointment only.
Yes! So far I have stayed island-side but as I get larger I expect I may be venturing to the mainland in order to expand my customer base. If you are interested in being notified of upcoming events that I will be participating in, please sign up for the newsletter.
Over the course of the last few years my thoughts and feelings towards the validity of the metaphysical properties of stones and crystals have evolved greatly.
To be honest, I used to be a flat-out nonbeliever. I thought it was all made up nonsense! Oh I still loved rocks and crystals, I just loved them because they were awesome and pretty, not because I believed in any special properties of them. Yet I sit here now, compelled to type something up for my website about just that thing.
There have been a number of people that I've met, and events that have happened in my life over the last few years that have lead me to question many things, one of which is the metaphysical realm. I can no longer call myself a "nonbeliever". Yet I hesitate to say that I am fully converted. I still have many questions!
At this point, I can't call myself an expert by any means. I don't claim to know much about the properties of each stone I wrap. Yet I can no longer deny that there is something there, something that can not just be ignored or explained away. There is a sort of energy or vibration to the natural substances that I work with that I feel in a very basal sense. I can't explain it in full, nor do I think it needs to be explained. I think it is enough to simply be felt.
While I am beginning to learn more, If you were to ask me right now, which stone is good for arthritis, or which one is best for anxiety, I would not be able to tell you! To be perfectly honest, I really don't think that I, nor perhaps anyone, should be recommending specific stones for specific purposes. I have a feeling that it's all much simpler and yet more complicated than that. I think it is likely an individual and highly personal choice. I believe that the right stone for one person may not be the right stone for another. I believe how we connect with the energies of the earth, and by extension the materials of the earth, i.e. gemstones, is unique for each of us. It is intimate, and in a way, sacred and spiritual.
I believe that whatever a piece means to an individual is what it means. Whether that Sodalite necklace is a talisman to help an individual communicate better and find their voice- or is just a pretty stone pendant, it all depends on the individual wearing it. What they believe and how it makes them feel is all that matters. It matters not how or why-if you like something and it makes you feel good, and harms no one-embrace it! Everything else is just noise.
